Power Budget Designer preview showing power rails, regulators and loads

Design an entire power distribution architecture, from the input connector to every load. Define consumers with multiple power rails, voltage ranges, tolerances and current demands. Add DC/DC converters, LDOs, filters, protection devices or custom blocks.

The designer calculates currents and power losses throughout the entire supply chain, working backwards to the input. Display Imin, Ityp and Imax independently. The calculations account for voltage ranges, conversion efficiency, voltage drops and quiescent current.

The generated diagram places input supplies on the left and loads on the right. Vertical power buses organize connections; rails spanning multiple stages use horizontal buses above the diagram. Blocks can be reordered vertically within a stage or dragged horizontally between electrically valid stages without changing connections. Press Esc to cancel the current action and return to selection.
